On September 27th, PROF. DATO’TS. DR. ZALIMAN SAULI, the Vice-Chancellor of UNIVERSITI MALAYSIA PERLIS, and his delegation visited our university. Vice President Wang Yang and relevant department heads met with the guests and had discussions and exchanges on the cooperation between the two universities, signing a letter of intent for cooperation. Wang Xingju, Dean of the School of International Education, presided over relevant activities.

At the meeting, Wang Yang introduced the basic situation of STDU in terms of history, faculty, scientific research construction, talent cultivation and international exchanges, especially the achievements in serving the national "the Belt and Road" initiative, carrying out international cooperation and education of foreign students in China. He hoped to further promote cooperation and exchanges between the two universities with the president's visit.

President ZALIMAN introduced the history and current situation of UNIVERSITI MALAYSIA PERLIS in Malaysia, and expressed appreciation for our university's characteristics, disciplinary advantages, and educational philosophy. He expressed his willingness to cooperate in selecting students to study in STDU.

After the meeting, the foreign guests visited the engineering training center.
